"This is one of our family's favourite dinner place with their chai por steamed fish as the must order dish.. along with our usual favourite curry prawns.. we have been dining here many times for the good food and affordable price. Usually quite packed with customers, best to reserve in advanced else there will be a long waiting time."

"The star of the show was the not meat dishes for this small town 'chu char' favorite for the locals in Sungai Petani. Loved the fried tofu served with stir fried cashews, onions, leeks, dried squid and chillies and the flash fried long beans with deep fried diced pickled radish and garlic. These a simple umami filled dishes that warms the soul and is the perfect for beer pairing."

"It took around 20 mins for every dish to be served. The food was decent. Here are the prices as i can recall ( for 7 pax ): 1) Lemon Chicken (梅子鸡)= RM 34 2) Three-Flavored Fish (三味鱼)= RM 37 3) Kangkung Sambal Belacan (马来风光), Foo Yong Egg (芙蓉蛋), Seaweed Soup (紫菜汤) = RM (8 - 25) The waiting time could be longer during peak hours but it's worth a try."
